About Sarah
Sarah is the daughter of a print expert and graphic designer, and has always had a love for art, design and all things crafty. She was raised in Miami, got her BFA in graphic design in Tallahassee, spent time in Los Angeles and now proudly calls the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina her home.
She started Sarah Hearts in 2006 with a line of handmade bags made from vintage fabrics and hand screen printed apparel. In 2008 she launched her blog sharing DIY tutorials and digital downloads. Her love of sewing and attention to detail lead her to release her first woven label and fabric collections in 2020.
Finding Inspiration
Sarah draws inspiration for all her creative work from the scenic landscape of her home, her love of traveling to new places, and from her ever-inspiring daughter, June Willow.
